I love my new business!!!My new favorite TW piece - Smart Steamer!!!
I'm so excited to announce that I sell TUPPERWARE!!! Never did I expect to be a direct sales consultant, but this is seriously one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've made tons of new friends, made some extra money, but best of all, I get incredible discounts on my personal Tupperware - and I've completely stocked my kitchen for FREE (well, Pete's kitchen)

Josie Grace
I was suppose to have gotten a Yorkie back in December; but, things changed... Dad and I went to eat dinner one night at Moe's and then we went in to PetSmart... There she was, the cutest little puppy ever... A family found her on the side of a road in a cardboard box and couldn't keep her; sooo, we took her home!!! It took us about 1 week to figure out a name we all agreed on - Josie Grace!!! When we first got her she weighed 3lbs 4oz; today she weighs more than 23 pounds...

Wow, it's been too long...

It's been too long since I last blogged, but no better time to start than now... Last year has come and gone... and new year has already begun!
Last spring I was going through some rough times and a friend invited me to go on a cruise (that was leaving in like 3 wks). I said yes because it was something that I needed at that time. We left out of Miami,Fl and traveled to Cozumel, Mexico and then back to Miami. It was a short cruise, but long enough to get me away from the chaos I was encountering.
Since then, I've been looking at more cruises and wanting to go again! It was sooo much fun and sooo relaxing!

George / Reba Concert Feb 2010
So last night my mom and I went to the George Strait/Reba McEntire/LeAnn Womack concert... Mom bought me these tickets for christmas. We had really awesome seats. The concert was 4 1/2 hours long - well worth the money! Reba is one of my absolute favorites and I couldn't believe I was actually seeing her live! Then to top it all off, "BarbaraJean", from the Reba show, made an appearance... I was acting like a school kid... jumping up and down, screaming, pointing... mom couldn't believe how I was acting! It was incredible! The George Strait himself came out; and performed for 1 1/2 hrs - 1 hr 45 mins... it was awesome!!!

Flood 2009
So of course everyone has heard that Atlanta flooded in the past week. Praise God my parents house was ok. The surrounding area's were not, but the water receded quickly. Only missed one day of work because I couldn't get out... compared to others, that's good. It was taking me anywhere up to 1 1/2 hrs to get to work though the days after (it's usually a 15-20 minute ride). Getting more rain today, but praying that there won't be anymore flooding.

Catching up on ole times
It's definitely been awhile since I've blogged. Life's been busy (as everyone knows) and I'm really tired of my boring background (I get frustruated with trying to figure out how to change it that I just shut everything down and don't come back for a long time). But, I wanted to log on tonight to see all of my friends updates and check out how everyone is doing.
So what have I been up to? Well, for starters, I got a new job back in March. I started working for my childhood pediatricians office. I've been there 5 months as of right now and I'm enjoying it thoroughly. Of course everywhere you go there's bound to be people that have issues, but for the most part, it's good. It's not easy to deal with those few people when they're fired up, but I just get quite and stay to my self and let it pass over. By moving to my new job, I've also started looking into going back to school and getting my RN. It's something I originally wanted to do, but didn't for some reason -- didn't want to study at the time, just wanted out of school, talked out of it by advisors, etc. Hopefully, now that I've been out for 3 years, I can focus, buckle down, and accomplish this goal.
Pete is still currently living in Chicago, but accepted a job offer that will move him to San Antonio, TX. We're not exactly sure when he'll be moving yet because he's still going through the hiring process -- drug tests, finger printing, etc. I suppose that as soon as these things are taken care of (end of this week), we should be hearing something back from them. We'll miss Chicago, but I'm not sure he's ready for another northern winter this year. He thought it'd be fun (and it was for the first year), but I think he's ready for nice sunny weather year round now.
Plenty of other things have happened, but this is enough for now. Hopefully I'll be back sooner than later.
